The Loxton Double Sided Stove from Mendip Stoves
The Loxton Double Sided Stove, shown above, is a new Dual Control wood burning model with a dual control air system for precise management of the air intake, creating better efficiency in both combustion and operation. This means cleaner air, the need for less wood to create heat, which saves money, and low waste. All of which benefit users both now and in the future.
Its glass doors on both sides remain clear thanks to the stove’s built-in air wash system, allowing for a perfect view of the flickering flames from either side, while an optional cast iron cooktop can also be added, ideal for a stovetop kettle. A logstore version is also available to keep a supply of wood close to hand.
Whether used as a room divider or as a focal point within an open-plan interior, this 7-9kW Double Sided Stove is durable and hardworking. With a cast iron door, milled stainless steel handles and a cast iron grate, it’s engineered with everyday living in mind and is ideal for a room renovation, home heating update, conversion project or new-build.
The Churchill Double Sided Stove from Mendip Stoves
Also new by Mendip Stoves, available from Eurostove, is the Churchill Double Sided Stove. This Dual Control model harnesses the same qualities and high-performing features as the Loxton, with a dual control air system, integrated air wash and optional cast iron cooktop. It also comes with or without a logstore and can be accessed and enjoyed from both sides.
The cast iron doors on either side are beautifully curved for softness and character while its distinctive design complements modern spaces as well as period properties. With a 7-9kW heat output, it looks stunning whether installed as a statement divider within an open-plan space or as part of a feature wall.
