The Stove Industry Association (SIA) has introduced a new Ambassador Recognition Initiative to thank its members for their support of the trade body.
The initiative is intended to be a simple way of thanking members for introducing potential new members, encouraging businesses to join the SIA or otherwise supporting membership development.
The first three recipients are Nick Bainbridge of MI Flues, Adrian Carter of FSM Group and John Porter of Jøtul, who were all recognised at the SIA’s members’ meeting last month (September).
David Hamilton, Head of Membership at the SIA, said: “Our members are our best advocates.
“When businesses hear directly from people who are already part of the SIA it can help them to understand the benefits of membership.
“We want to recognise those who are helping us to grow and encourage more members to play an active role in bringing new businesses into the association.”
Recipients of the Ambassador Recognition Initiative will be celebrated at the SIA’s three annual meetings and presented with Ambassador badges.
David added: “Building a strong association is something we can all contribute to. We hope the initiative will encourage more members to put forward potential leads and help us continue to build a strong, representative voice for the stove industry.”
The SIA is encouraging members to contact the membership team with details of businesses that may be interested in joining. They should send ideas to Head of Membership David Hamilton at david@stoveindustryassociation.org
