The Stove Industry Association (SIA) is proud to announce that its communications director, Erica Malkin, has been named on the Women in Trade Associations Powerlist 2025 (WiTA).
The list, which was compiled from over 200 public nominations, is a collaboration between the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the Trade Association Forum (TAF) to celebrate and recognise inspirational women in the Association sector. A selection panel from these organisations and WineGB had the unenviable task of selecting the 100 women that make up the list.

Erica has worked in the fireplace and stove sector for almost 20 years. Since joining the SIA in 2019,
she has significantly advanced the association’s mission to promote the benefits of modern wood burning stoves and advocate for their recognition as sustainable, low carbon and low emission secondary heating solutions.
Andy Hill, chair of the SIA, said: “Erica has been instrumental in developing the SIA’s strategic plans and has spearheaded numerous successful campaigns to help raise awareness of the environmental and economic advantages of modern stoves. Erica’s efforts not only enhance the SIA’s visibility and help to grow membership but also continue to strengthen the Association’s reputation as a trusted source of information and advocacy for the sector. Her innovative approach and commitment to her role have made a significant impact, and we are incredibly proud of her achievements.”
Erica Malkin commented: “It is an absolute honour to have been chosen to appear on the #WiTApowerlistalongside so many brilliantly talented and inspirational women. I am passionate about my role and the ongoing development of the SIA. It has been incredibly rewarding to witness the growth and progress we have achieved together. This accolade inspires me to continue advocating for our industry and fostering collaboration among our members.”
